Ric Donzell has been playing guitar since the age of 12. Playing in numerous bands throughout high school, college, and his stint in the Navy, his prior 2 bands were All That! and Slapwater. He eventually left the Slapwater stage to pursue his interest in sound engineering.
Ric founded Abigail’s Attic Sound, doing major events like Neptune Festival, Chesapeake Jubilee, Hampton’s Block Party and many other large events. Abigail’s Attic Sound became the sound company for J&A Racing, handling all of their sound needs including the Shamrock Marathon centered at the Virginia Beach ocean front. Abigail’s Attic Sound also served many area bands, such as The Delorean’s, Runnin’ Shine and Crazy X.
When Crazy X needed a guitarist, he blew the dust off his guitars and started playing, and WOW! Crazy X is fortunate and very happy to have Ric in our CX family!
