John Shifflett (Bass, Vocals)

John Shifflett began singing at a very young age.  By seventh grade he was the bassist in a local band routinely playing gigs at military bases and colleges.  During the 70’s, he completed his music degree at VCU and toured Southeastern US clubs in rock, funk, and soul bands.    After a long corporate career he returned to the stage here in eastern Virginia, and in the summer of 2023 happily connected with Crazy X.  His background also includes theater and live performance in country, rock, bluegrass, jazz, blues, R&B, funk, soul, folk and other americana music.
